Radiologist, Dr. David R. Feldman Keeps Coastine Imaging Running Smoothly
Since joining Coastline Imaging as their exclusive radiologist, Dr. David R. Feldman has shared many years of wxperience with the Brevard medical community.
Dr. Feldman earned his B.A. in Chemistry at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and went on to New York University School of Medicine in New York City. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the New York Hospital--Cornell Medical Center, New York City and also did his residency there with clinical rotations at Memorial - Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. From there From there,Dr. Feldman completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He is board certified in both internal medicine and radiology.
Dr. Feldman was appointed Assistant Professor in the radiology department at the Medical University of South Carolina before accapting a possition as Senior Associate Director for Clinical Development at Berlex Laboratories in New Jersey where he was later promoted to Director ofCinical Development. In this capacity he designed and mangedlarge multicenter clinical research trials at many university medical centers aropund the U.S. and in Europe.
Fullfilling a desire to return to clinical medicine Dr. Feldmanwas appointed to the faculty at New York Medical College and became the Clinical Director of MRI for Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. In 2002, Dr. Feldman moved to Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and was an attending Radiologist with Advanced Imaging Associates.
"I have several goals here at Coastline Imaging," said Dr. Feldman. "I want to improve the spectrum of services to help both patients and physicians. I want to increase the level of our customer service, while bringing up the quality of our practice even further." Dr. Feldman is at Coastline Imaging on a full-time basis, providing fast and effective interpretation of all diagnostic test performed at the facility.He tries to get results to area physicians within 24 hours of completion of a patient's test. This is critical part of his commitment to quality service.
"I really wanted to get back to the real 'bread and butter' of being a physician - helping patients," Dr. Feldman said.
Having participated in high-level cooperative research trials at more than 20 different universities across the country and having partnered with many experts in his field, Dr. Feldman has developed the expertise to utilize the latest technologies available and he implements this knowledge into his work at Coastline Imaging.
